Job summary

Idaho Youth Ranch is seeking a Lead Thrift Store Associate to help manage one of our thrift stores and support our mission to serve Idaho's youth. You will oversee daily store operations, support staff, and contribute to donor relations and sales goals.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in or have a High School diploma, possess strong customer service skills, and can commit to weekend shifts in a compassionate, mission-driven environment that values growth and community impact.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service skills.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Enrolled in High School or possess HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Idaho Youth Ranch in-store and in the community.
• Perform daily opening, operation, and closing of the thrift store.
• Compile daily sales and make bank deposits.
• Lead and train store employees to ensure smooth operations.

As a Lead Thrift Store Associate in one of our Thrift Stores, you can proudly tell your family and friends that you help nurture hope, healing, and resilience in Idaho's youth by assisting in the overall management of selling donated items; the profits of which go to fund our Programs and Services and make them accessible to all youth who need those services in Idaho.

Must Haves:

• o Be enrolled in High School or possess High School diploma or equivalent
• o Must be 16 years of age
• o Have strong customer service skills, be able to WOW our customers!
• o Ability to work weekends

Our Lead Thrift Store Associates:

• o Represent the Idaho Youth Ranch
• o Performs functions related to the daily opening, operation, and closing of a store
• o Compiles daily sales and makes bank deposits
• o Serves as a leader by providing training and directing the store employees
