Job summary

The Idaho Youth Ranch is seeking a Thrift Store Associate to join our network of stores in Idaho. You’ll help sell donated items, handle transactions, and support store operations to fund programs for Idaho’s youth.

As part of a nonprofit mission, you’ll work in a caring environment with a focus on customer service, teamwork, and efficient thrift-store operations. Must be able to work weekends and uphold our values.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service skills and WOW customers.
• Ability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Idaho Youth Ranch.
• Operate cash registers and credit/check processing equipment.
• Sort, clean, price and stock donated merchandise.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand carts, lift gates and other loading/moving equipment.

As a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, the Idaho Youth Ranch is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) program. The PLSF offers student loan forgiveness on qualifying loans under specific conditions. Speak with your loan provider for more information.
