Job summary

Idaho Youth Ranch is seeking a Thrift Store Associate in Idaho to help fund our programs by selling donated items. You will represent our nonprofit, greet customers, handle cash registers, and assist with stocking merchandise.

This role requires strong customer service, weekend availability, and comfortable use of loading equipment. You will work in a caring environment and contribute to healing and resilience in Idaho’s youth in line with our mission.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and ability to WOW customers.
• Ability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Idaho Youth Ranch.
• Operate cash registers and credit/check processing equipment.
• Sort, clean, price and stock donated merchandise.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand carts, lift gates and other loading/moving equipment.

As a Thrift Store Associate in one of our Thrift Stores, you can proudly tell your family and friends that you help nurture hope, healing, and resilience in Idaho’s youth by selling donated items; the profits of which go to fund our Programs and Services and make them accessible to all youth who need those services in Idaho.

As a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, the Idaho Youth Ranch is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) program. The PLSF offers student loan forgiveness on qualifying loans under specific conditions. Speak with your loan provider for more information.
