Job summary

The Idaho Youth Ranch is seeking a Thrift Store Associate to join our Oregon team, helping nurture hope, healing, and resilience through friendly shopping experiences.

In this role you will represent the nonprofit, operate cash registers, process payments, sort and price donated merchandise, stock shelves, and assist with loading/unloading tasks. Weekend availability is required in a caring, mission-driven environment.

• Strong customer service skills and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work weekends and flexible hours as needed.

• Represent the Idaho Youth Ranch to store customers.
• Operate cash registers and process payments.
• Sort, price and stock donated merchandise on the floor.

Our Thrift Store Associate

• Represent the Idaho Youth Ranch
• Operate cash registers and credit/check processing equipment
• Sort, clean, price and stock donated merchandise
• Operate pallet jacks, hand carts, lift gates and other loading/moving equipment

As a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, the Idaho Youth Ranch is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) program. The PLSF offers student loan forgiveness on qualifying loans under specific conditions. Speak with your loan provider for more information.
