Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in software QA with at least 3 years in a lead role.
• Experience building and implementing comprehensive test strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA testers, including performance reviews.
• Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts based on project requirements.
• Define and drive overall testing strategy, methodologies, and processes to ensure product quality.

• Identify, document, and track defects, driving timely resolution with development teams.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Lead Tester to oversee and guide our quality assurance efforts. This role involves leading a team of testers, developing comprehensive test strategies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products for Hyve Solutions Corporation.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Quality Assurance (QA) testers, including performance reviews and professional development.
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
• Define and drive overall testing strategy, methodologies, and processes to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with development, product management, and other stakeholders to understand project scope and deliverable expectations.
• Oversee the execution of various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Establish and report on key quality metrics, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
• Champion best practices in software quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in release planning and deployment activities, ensuring smooth and high-quality product releases.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing comprehensive test strategies and plans.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and various testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Expertise in test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail) and defect tracking systems.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
• Experience with server hardware, data center solutions, or related technologies is a plus.
