Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking a Quality Engineer to own key quality control processes, including audits, fall-out management, and ISO compliance, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement, reporting to the Quality Manager.

The role requires hands-on experience with SPC, QMS, and ISO standards, plus the ability to manage multiple projects and travel to locations as needed.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or relevant discipline plus 3 years of experience in manufacturing and quality control.
• Experience with mechanical drawing and/or tools.
• Understanding of server-level component design and system integration processes.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Hands-on quality system training and SPC principles and tools.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve Product and Processes Corrective and Preventive Action Plans.
• Assess reliability testing, equipment service and calibration and verification processes.
• Perform failure analyses and root-cause investigations with corrective actions.
• Execute internal audits on QMS, EMS, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• Coordinate factory audits with UL and other regulators.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Shipping, Warehouse, Program Managers and Procurement to meet quality standards.
• Develop proactive quality department strategies across the organization.

About The Job

As a Quality Engineer, you will take ownership of key quality control processes, including audits, fall-out management, and ISO compliance, to ensure products and practices meet company and industry standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues, implement improvements, and support continuous compliance with ISO requirements. This hands‑on role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a drive to achieve results in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. You will report directly to the Quality Manager.

You will

• Review and approve Product and Processes Corrective and Prevention Action Plans.
• Assess and evaluate all reliability testing, equipment service and calibration and the verification process.
• Perform failure analyses, root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up.
• Execute internal audits on QMS, EMS, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Coordinate UL (Underwriter’s Laboratory) and other regulatory factory audits.
• Conduct regular conference calls with customers or vendors and provide reports as needed.
• Work with internal Production, Engineering, Shipping/Receiving, Warehouse, Program Managers and Procurement to meet quality standards.
• Develop proactive solutions and implement Quality department strategies across the organization.
• Perform additional assessment and analysis as assigned.

You have

• BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or relevant discipline plus 3 years of experience including a combination of 2+ years in manufacturing, 3+ years in quality control and 3+ years in a leadership position or equivalent combination of experience.
• Proven understanding of mechanical drawing and/or tools
• Should have a good understanding of server level component design and operation, as well as computer system level integration processes and interoperability.
• Working knowledge of MS Office programs; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Hands on experience with quality system training including understanding of SPC (Statistics Process Control) principles and tools.
• Established ability prioritizing and managing multiple projects to meet strict deadlines.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, high volume, and diverse environment across functions to produce expected results.
• Able to work as business needs require which may include long days, occasional evenings and weekends, and travel to all manufacturing and warehouse locations, for business meetings or training.
