Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a highly experienced Project Lead to drive complex programs across RF, analog, digital, and firmware domains. You will develop test hardware/software from requirements to deployment, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and deliver on schedule and budget.

The role emphasizes on-site leadership, customer collaboration, and on-the-job training for operators, with a path toward program management within Collins Aerospace and Raytheon RTX structures.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is required.
• Experience in engineering laboratory environments and transitioning automated test solutions to production.
• Experience delivering hardware and software solutions, including providing on-site training for operators.
• Experience in leadership roles, managing multi-disciplinary teams through program execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team through program execution, ensuring alignment with technical, schedule, and cost objectives.
• Develop test hardware and software from requirements definition through build, integration, and deployment to manufacturing or customer facilities.
• Oversee the design, support, and integration of test solutions across multiple disciplines, including RF, analog, digital, firmware, and systems integration.
• Support proposal and bidding activities to drive innovation and business growth.
• Create and manage program schedules, track progress, and address deviations from planned milestones.
• Provide on-site training and troubleshooting support for operators and manufacturing teams.
• Prepare and deliver clear technical presentations and documentation, including design reviews and project status updates.
• Ensure compliance with project budget, schedule, and performance commitments.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
