Job summary

ASM Research is seeking an experienced QA Lead to supervise a quality assurance team and promote QA best practices across software lifecycle stages. You will establish testing standards, oversee audits, and prepare metrics and IPRs to guide project quality efforts.

The role focuses on automated test development in Java for web front ends and microservices, with close collaboration to developers, product managers, and CI/CD workflows to ensure robust software delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience
• Certified Tester -- Advanced Level desired (TTA/TA/TM)
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on automated test coding experience using Java (or development with C++ or C#)
• U.S. citizenship with ability to pass a government background investigation; no dual citizens

Responsibilities

• Supervise QA team and promote QA best practices.
• Establish software quality standards for lifecycle, documentation, development methods, testing and maintenance.
• Specify functional and non-functional software testing requirements.
• Organize audits including program and CMMI PQA audits.
• Prepare test metrics and Interim Project Reviews (IPRs).
• Provide oversight to the QA team, prioritizing testing-support activities and monitoring objectives.
• Collaborate with developers, shared services, and product managers to define automated testing components.
