Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a QA Lead to supervise the QA team and promote best practices across the software lifecycle. The role establishes quality standards for development, testing, documentation and maintenance, and drives audits and metrics.

You will develop automated test scripts in Java, collaborate with developers, product managers and shared services, and implement test automation across Web front ends and microservices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience
• Certified Tester -- Advanced Level desired
• 4 years hands-on automated test coding in Java (or development in C++/C#)
• US citizens able to pass a government background check; no dual citizens

Responsibilities

• Supervise QA team and promote QA best practices across the lifecycle
• Establish software quality standards for life cycle, docs, development, testing and maintenance
• Specify functional and non-functional testing requirements
• Organize audits including program and CMMI PQA audits
• Prepare test metrics and Interim Project Reviews
• Oversee QA activities, prioritize testing-support work and monitor test objectives
• Develop automated test scripts to validate functional, technical and performance requirements
• Collaborate with developers, shared services and product managers to define automation components
• Drive test automation techniques across the team
• Develop in Java and run automated tests on Web front-end and microservices
• Execute validations: DB, rules, logging, reporting, UI
• Assist Scrum team with story estimation and CI engagement
• Contribute to cross-functional teamwork within Agile lifecycle
