Qualifications

• Requires professional, well-developed interpersonal skills for communicating with members, employees, and the general public.
• Requires thorough knowledge of the Credit Union's policies, procedures, programs, products and services as they relate to Teller operations.
• Requires completion of high school education.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct Teller operations by assigning work, answering questions, solving problems and helping with complex transactions.
• Perform the full range of Teller duties, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, mail transactions, account maintenance, and nightly balance.
• Implement Credit Union policies and procedures in the Teller area.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of Teller activities on an ongoing basis and recommend steps to improve service and delivery to members.
• Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage during operating hours and approve absences in accordance with policies.
• Train and cross-train Teller staff and conduct routine audits on Teller drawers.
• Balance ATM machine and process end-of-day procedures for the machine.
• Cross-sell products and services offered by the Credit Union.
