Job summary

Trustco Bank in Florida seeks a Head Teller to lead daily teller operations, supervise staff, and ensure accurate cash handling while delivering exceptional customer service. The role reports to the Branch Manager and requires strict policy adherence and confidentiality.

You will balance cash, supervise cash shipments, and support branch operations with accurate records and timely reports. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success in a fast-paced, customer-focused

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Supervisory experience.
• Strong customer service and cash-handling experience.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English; bilingual a plus.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
• Ability to lift 10–20 lbs., stand for extended periods.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous banking or financial services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Outstanding Customer Service: Create a warm, professional, and efficient environment where every customer feels valued.
• Leadership & Team Growth: Supervise, mentor, and coach tellers to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Transaction Handling: Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing and related transactions.
• Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and submit detailed reports accurately and on time.
