Job summary

BayPort Credit Union is seeking a Lead Teller to oversee daily teller operations and deliver outstanding member experiences. You will process financial transactions, coach tellers, and support branch leadership in the absence of the Manager or Assistant Manager.

You will manage cash inventories, verify vault suitability, and ensure adherence to branch policies. Strong communication and leadership are essential for guiding a busy teller line and maintaining service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of financial transactions for members, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide excellent service to members and resolve inquiries related to BayPort Credit Union’s products and services.
• Oversee teller staff, coach, and schedule, ensuring professional teller line operations.
• Maintain cash vaults, perform cash audits, and verify cash shipments with regulators.
• Handle complex member complaints and resolutions, including discrepancies in cash drawers and vaults.
• Open and close the branch, safeguarding cash, documents, and equipment.
