Job summary

KeyBank Gorham is seeking a Lead Teller to be a trusted advisor and resource for clients and the branch team. You will resolve complex client issues, coach tellers, and support scheduling and branch compliance while guiding clients toward deeper financial wellness conversations.

You will promote bank products, balance cash drawers, and ensure accurate transaction processing within regulatory standards. Weekend shifts may be required as directed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years demonstrated superior client relationship skills
• 3+ years experienced in cash handling
• Ability to lead, motivate, and foster teamwork
• Demonstrated organizational skills while managing multiple tasks
• Knowledge of product guides, fees, and policies to stay current

Responsibilities

• Embodies a strong client experience culture with every client and teammate
• Coaches tellers to ensure efficient teller functions in branch
• Identifies and resolves complex client servicing issues
• Transitions clients to a Banker for financial wellness conversations
• Supports onboarding and training of new tellers
• Manages day-to-day teller line duties and scheduling
• Ensures compliance with regulatory, security, and internal controls
