Job summary

Westfield Bank seeks a Head Teller I to supervise the teller line at a small branch, ensuring prompt, courteous service and strict adherence to bank policies. The role requires strong leadership and the ability to coach staff to maintain accuracy and compliance.

The Head Teller I will coordinate workflows, provide training, protect cash vault security, perform teller audits, and drive sales referrals to meet branch targets. A High School Diploma or GED and supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience as a Senior Teller preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lead others.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to established Westfield Bank customer service standards.
• Applies the Westfield Bank Service and Sales Process during customer interaction to acquire and enhance customer relationships.
• Supervises the teller line by allocating and coordinating the work flow and guiding subordinates.
• Training new employees and monitoring regulatory compliance.
• Provides backup coverage to the management team and maintains security of cash vault.
• Performs Teller administrative duties and ensures adherence to bank policy and compliance.
• Leads teller team to meet sales goals through referral of bank products and services.
• Balances ATM and completes cash audits as required.
