Dime Commercial Bank in Locust Valley (Long Island) is hiring a Head Teller to lead and supervise tellers, providing guidance and support at the Locust Valley branch.

The Head Teller will oversee transactions, cash handling, vault logistics, and compliance, while coaching staff and contributing to branch business development.

This role requires a High School Diploma, 2+ years retail banking experience, and strong problem-solving skills; prior supervisory experience is preferred.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years' retail banking experience preferred.
• Cash-handling experience required.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and compliance knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, money orders, cash advances, and cashier’s checks.
• Order, ship and provide branch with cash as well as receive vault money for branch and ATM.
• Perform various administrative and supervisory duties as designated, such as handling over and short GL’s and Cash Items.
• Ensure teller line runs efficiently and that tellers adhere to bank policies and procedures with respect to money handling, cash levels, and controls.
• Support branch business development goals by referring customers to platform staff.
• Coach and mentor tellers in making platform referrals.
• Schedule teller staff as needed by branch.
