Job summary

The Lead Teller at Credit Union of Texas oversees the branch teller team, ensuring accurate cash handling, vault operations, and compliant transactions. You’ll coach tellers, drive service and sales goals, and maintain audit-ready records while using CUTX-approved AI tools under human oversight.

Daily duties include supervising safes, recyclers, ATM replenishment, and adherence to BSA/AML, OFAC, Regulation CC, and other CUTX policies. Strong leadership and bilingual communication are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• 1–2 years in teller, cash handling, or branch operations.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead teller team to meet sales, service, and operational goals.
• Coach tellers and provide on-the-job training.
• Oversee cash, vault operations and balancing.
• Ensure compliance with BSA/AML, OFAC and Regulation CC.
• Use AI tools with human review.
