RTX is seeking an experienced Principal Telemetry (TM) and Flight Termination Systems (FTS) Engineer in Tucson to provide technical leadership and develop advanced system architectures for TM/FTS. You will drive PCBA design from requirements through integration and qualification, lead reviews, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring compliance with RCC, FCC, NSA standards.

Competenze

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
Experience with electronics design at the system and/or subsystem level.
Deep experience with analog and mixed-signal circuit design (FET/BJT, op-amps, filters, A/D converters).
Experience with analysis tools such as MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica, or similar.

Mansioni

Lead system and circuit-level architecture design activities for TM/FTS subsystems.
Drive full lifecycle development of PCBA designs from requirements to qualification.
Lead technical reviews, failure investigations, supplier engagements, and cross-functional teams.
Oversee analog and mixed-signal circuit design, testing, and documentation.
Generate engineering artifacts to demonstrate regulatory and performance requirements.
Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
