RTX is seeking a Principal Telemetry (TM) and Flight Termination Systems (FTS) Engineer in Tucson, AZ to provide technical leadership and develop advanced system architectures for TM/FTS efforts. This role focuses on full lifecycle hardware design, from concept through integration, with mentoring of junior engineers.

Join a team delivering high-assurance power and analog/mixed-signal systems, following RCC, FCC, and NSA standards, and working across systems, RF, firmware, and test organizations

Competenze

• Bachelor degree in STEM with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with electronics design at the system and/or subsystem level.
• Experience generating and/or utilizing electrical design specifications.
• Deep experience with analog and mixed-signal circuit design (FET/BJT, op-amps, filters, A/D converters, level shifting).
• Experience with analysis tools (MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica, or similar).

Mansioni

• Lead system and circuit-level architecture design activities for TM and FTS subsystems.
• Drive full lifecycle development of PCBA-level designs from requirements through integration and qualification.
• Lead technical reviews, failure investigations, supplier engagements, and cross-functional task teams.
• Oversee analog and mixed-signal circuit design, analysis, testing, and documentation.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and shape team-level engineering best practices.
