Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to lead TM/FTS subsystem architecture and PCBA development. You will guide design from requirements through integration, perform reviews and failure investigations, and mentor junior engineers to uphold best practices in a high-stakes defense environment.

The role emphasizes analog/mixed-signal design, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on delivering robust telemetry and flight termination products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in electronics design.
• Experience with analog and mixed-signal circuit design.
• Experience generating and/or utilizing electrical design specifications.
• Experience with analysis tools such as MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead system and circuit-level architecture design for TM and FTS subsystems.
• Drive full lifecycle development of PCBA designs from requirements through integration.
• Lead technical reviews, failure investigations, and cross-functional teams.
• Oversee analog and mixed-signal circuit design, testing, and documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish engineering best practices.
