RTX's Hardware Electrical Engineering Team seeks a Principal Telemetry and Flight Termination Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership, develop advanced TM/FTS architectures, and drive execution. Focus areas include telemetry, power, and mixed-signal electronics for defense-grade systems.

The role involves leading system design, reviews, and cross-functional collaboration while mentoring engineers. A DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.

Competenze

• Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Deep experience with analog and mixed-signal circuit design (FET/BJT, op-amps, filters, A/D converters, level shifting).
• Experience with electrical design specifications and analysis tools.

Mansioni

• Lead system and circuit-level architecture design activities for TM and FTS subsystems.
• Drive full lifecycle development of PCBA designs from requirements to integration and qualification.
• Lead technical reviews, failure investigations, supplier engagements, and cross-functional teams.
• Oversee analog and mixed-signal circuit design, analysis, testing, and documentation.
• Generate engineering artifacts to demonstrate compliance with program and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and shape team engineering practices.
