Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or college degree preferred.
• Minimum of six years in central office equipment or data center installation.
• Familiarity with AT&T, Telcordia, or Verizon quality standards.
• Experience with telecommunications equipment from major vendors listed.
• Knowledge of fiber optic cable and AC/DC power installation/testing.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain telecom equipment in central offices, data centers, and customer spaces.
• Install racks, cabinets, PDUs, cables, and perform terminations and labeling.
• Test performance, document metrics, and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Read drawings, blueprints, and MOPs; complete daily reports.
• Oversee junior installers and act as customer liaison on site.
