Job summary

Circet USA is seeking a Telecommunications Equipment Installer IV - Lead to install and maintain telecom equipment across data centers and central offices. You will manage fiber and power cabling, set up PDUs, and conduct extensive testing to ensure high-quality service for carriers.

The role requires hands-on installation, leadership to oversee junior staff, and strong communication with customers and internal teams; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience or equivalent technical skills in central office equipment and data center installation.
• Familiarity with AT&T, Telcordia, and Verizon quality standards.
• Experience with telecom equipment including major vendors listed above.
• Background in fiber optic cable and AC/DC power installation and testing practices.
• Proficient with Microsoft programs, IOS and/or Android applications.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentation.
• Good mechanical aptitude with basic power tools.
• Strong organization and verbal/written communication skills.
• BICSI certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain telecommunication equipment for multiple carriers.
• Work with fiber, transport equipment and central office infrastructures.
• Place, modify, and terminate equipment; ensure proper cabling and labeling.
• Set up PDUs, ensure redundancy and load balancing.
• Conduct testing and document performance characteristics of hardware and software.
• Perform fiber light meter, CAT5/6 and volt-ohm meter testing.
• Oversee junior installers and interface with customers and supervisors.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and MOPs; complete daily status reports.
