Job summary

The Circet USA team is seeking a Telecommunications Equipment Installer III (Lead) to install and maintain telecom equipment for multiple carriers in data centers, central offices, and enterprise spaces. You will handle fiber, copper, cabinets, PDUs, testing, and documentation, while leading junior installers and ensuring safety and quality standards.

This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read drawings, familiarity with equipment brands, and readiness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or college degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in central office equipment / data center installation.
• Knowledge of AT&T, Telcordia and Verizon quality standards.
• Experience with telecommunications equipment including Dell, HP, Arista, Ciena, Fujitsu, Cisco, Calix, Adtran, Nortel, Nokia, etc.
• Background in fiber optic cable and AC/DC power installation and testing practices.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings and documentation; strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficient use of Microsoft programs; familiarity with IOS/Android applications.
• BICSI certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain telecommunication equipment for multiple carriers in data centers and central offices.
• Place, remove, or modify equipment; install cabinets, frames, and rack systems.
• Terminate and route power and fiber cables; ensure proper cable management.
• Set up PDUs with redundancy and balanced loads; conduct testing and document performance.
• Perform fiber light meter, CAT5/6 and volt-ohm meter testing; assist with test and turn-up.
• Oversee work of less experienced installers and liaise with customers and supervisors.
• Complete operations paperwork including daily status reports.
