LevelUP HCS is seeking a Technology Recruitment Practice Lead / Senior Full-Desk Recruiter in New York. You will lead senior-level technology searches, manage client relationships, and own the full delivery from intake to placement in a fast-paced, commission-driven environment.
The role emphasizes strategic leadership, building credibility with senior clients, and growing the Technology practice within an established financial-services oriented firm.
Technology Recruitment Practice Lead / Senior Full-Desk Recruiter
We are partnering with a founder-led talent solutions firm with deep roots in the financial services sector. The firm has built long-standing relationships across investment banking, broker-dealers, hedge funds, fintech, and other financial institutions, with many client partnerships spanning 20+ years.
As the business continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced full-desk Technology Recruitment professional to help rebuild and expand their Technology practice.
This is a senior-level opportunity for an established agency recruiter who can operate independently, build credibility with senior clients, and own complex Technology searches from intake through placement.
The ideal hire may come from a full-desk contingency, retained search, or recruitment leadership background. For the right individual, there is significant opportunity to help shape and ultimately lead the Technology practice.
You will not be expected to build a desk entirely from scratch. A dedicated sales team supports the practice and maintains 20+ year relationships with major financial services clients, alongside an existing pipeline of senior Technology searches.
The desk focuses on high-value, senior-level searches rather than high-volume, transactional recruiting.
The Technology practice is entering its next phase of growth, creating an opportunity for the right person to influence its direction and potentially build a team around them.
The firm is actively expanding its retained search capabilities, creating additional opportunities for recruiters interested in strategic and executive-level search work.
Join a small, experienced team where decisions are made with efficiency, individual impact is visible, and high performers are given significant autonomy.
Candidates should ideally be able to work from the firm’s Downtown Manhattan office approximately 2-3 days per week.
Candidates commuting from Manhattan, Long Island, New Jersey, and surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.
Exceptional candidates in other major U.S. markets may also be considered.
The firm offers a tiered, performance-driven commission structure with meaningful upside for successful billers.
Compensation will reflect the candidate’s experience, production history, leadership capabilities, and existing client relationships.
The interview process consists of three conversations:
