The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) seeks an Associate Project Manager II for the Engineering group within Drinking Water Operations- South, based in Valhalla, NY.

Under the Engineering Manager, you will manage service contracts, develop project scopes, guide design, oversee construction, and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards. The role includes field inspections, reporting, cost estimates, and coordinating with consultants and vendors.

Competenze

• One year of full-time supervision experience in project management.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction, or related field (or equivalent).
• Additional credit for Master’s degree, professional engineer, or JD.

Mansioni

• Plan, schedule, and inspect work by the DWO-S Engineering Group.
• Prepare reports, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for in-house projects.
• Develop technical sketches and perform mathematical calculations.
• Coordinate construction and repair activities for in-house, capital, and Job Order Contract projects.
• Conduct field inspections of water treatment facilities and assist SOP development.
• Draft technical specifications, assemble bid packages, and obtain vendor quotes.
