Responsibilities

  • Review designs for subsurface sewage treatment systems, sewer systems, and stormwater plans to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Perform field inspections and witness soil testing to assess wastewater designs and stormwater practices.
  • Investigate stormwater and wastewater violations and prepare technical reports for potential notices of violation.
  • Attend construction meetings and interact with project engineers, contractors, and agency staff as required.
  • Support enforcement and tracking of regulatory violations and assist in reporting of projects under regulatory deliverables.
  • Provide comments for public review of draft regulations at local, state, and federal levels.
