Job summary

Blue Origin Engines seeks a software team lead to guide the development of front-end and back-end systems for propulsion and engine teams. You will transform customer requirements into actionable user stories and drive end-to-end software delivery in a fast, collaborative environment.

The role requires strong communication, technical leadership, and the ability to translate unstructured domains into robust software solutions within an aerospace context.

Qualifications

• BS degree in computer science, computer engineering, physics, mathematics, or engineering.
• 5+ years of software or data product development experience.
• Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, and/or verification & test of hardware.
• Demonstrated ability to manage development of complex end-to-end software.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills throughout all levels of an organization.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with customers.
• US citizen or eligible status (US permanent resident or refugee/asylum as applicable).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software developers to build先进 engineering software solutions.
• Work directly with customers to develop requirements, define problem spaces, and create user stories.
• Develop and maintain product vision, development package, and roadmaps.
• Drive all aspects of the software development life cycle for back-end and front-end systems.
• Create and maintain product artifacts to support development and business needs.
• Coordinate priorities to enable incremental delivery and collect user feedback.
