Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Technical Baseline Engineering Department Manager 3 in Roy, Utah. The role leads the T3 department, manages configuration data, and partners with SDS division leadership to meet program goals.

The candidate will mentor managers, ensure technical quality, and support staffing, training, and talent development. Relocation assistance and a 9/80 schedule are offered for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 8+ years of related experience, or Master’s with 6+ years
• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance or ability to obtain SAP clearance
• Experience with configuration management tools and CM fundamentals
• Knowledge of MIL-STD-38784/40051/3008 and related standards
• Leadership experience in a DoD program environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Set objectives and mentor section managers and staff across multiple engineering areas
• Oversee planning, risk, schedule, and technical quality for programs
• Coordinate engineering data control with manufacturing and quality
• Lead improvements in employee engagement, hiring, and training
• Support proposal work, technical reviews, audits, and program standups
