Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineering Department Manager 3 in Roy, UT (or Manhattan Beach, CA). The role leads the Systems Engineering department, coordinating with multiple programs to meet objectives while mentoring engineers and ensuring technical quality. A TS clearance and US citizenship are required.

Relocation may be provided; the position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a structured 9/80 work schedule, with opportunities across Sentinel/GBSD and ICBM programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 8 years related experience or Masters Degree with 6 years.
• Ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance and Special Program Access
• US Citizen with an active TS clearance and investigation within last 6 years
• Experience in requirements development/management using DOORS or similar tool
• Experience in model development/management using CAMEO or similar tool
• Experience in Model Based System Engineering with understanding of DODAF and SysML

Responsibilities

• Lead a department within the Systems Engineering organization and mentor section managers.
• Oversee multiple business areas within the division portfolio to meet program goals.
• Manage planning, risk, schedule, technical quality, and problem resolution.
• Support proposal work, technical reviews, audits, and staff development.
