Job summary

The role requires extensive hands-on fabrication, testing, and collaboration with engineering teams to meet milestones. The candidate will lead technical efforts, mentor others, and ensure safety in shop environments while supporting rapid prototyping and product development programs aimed

Qualifications

• 12+ years of technical experience in machining, composites, rapid prototyping and electronics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• Familiarity with aircraft or RC experience.
• Expert with machine shop tools and tooling.
• Experience building fixtures, tools, or electrical devices.
• Knowledge of build/assembly documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support fabrication, troubleshoot, repair, and test integrated systems.
• Operate and maintain shop equipment; track projects and ROI.
• Instruct team on safe shop equipment use.
• Provide rapid prototyping and assembly services for hardware.
• Meet timelines; support project milestones with hardware readiness.
• Document processes and build techniques for equipment readiness.
• Lead technician support to engineering projects.
• Fabricate development fixtures, tools or molds.
• Give design feedback to improve performance, manufacturability and cost.
• Maintain safe, clean lab and machine shop areas.
