Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Test Technician III to independently support and lead development, build, integration, deployment, and sustainment of complex electro-mechanical test equipment for unmanned systems. You will partner with engineering, provide leadership in fabrication and rapid prototyping, and contribute to design improvements and process optimization.

The role requires hands-on fabrication, assembly of test systems, and collaboration to meet project milestones.

Qualifications

• Must have 4–6 years in electro-mechanical assembly design.
• Experience with ASME Y14 drawing practices.
• Ability to fabricate and test equipment and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate electro-mechanical test systems, tooling, and fixtures.
• Sustain electromechanical automated test equipment on production floors and supplier sites.
• Assist designers from concept through build, test and deployment.
• Lead significant portions of fabrication, validation, deployment, and process improvements.
• Perform circuit board design, bring-up, and documentation.
