Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Team Member to help maintain a clean, customer-first store. You will assist customers, operate a cash register, stock merchandise, and support store standards to maximize profitability while protecting assets.

You will function as a team member and lead when the Store Team Leader or Assistant Team Leader is away. Prioritize safety, merchandising, and efficient checkout procedures to enhance the customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service mindset and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate a cash register and process transactions accurately.
• Ability to lead a small team in absence of supervisors.
• Knowledge of store merchandising and planogram adherence.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and assist shoppers.
• Operate cash register, process payments, and provide accurate change.
• Stock and recover merchandise; keep store clean and organized.
• Assist with merchandising to create appealing displays.
• Follow SOPs and safety policies in daily tasks.
• Open/close store per supervision and assist team leaders as needed.
