Job summary

Babilou Family US is seeking a Certified Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and sustainable learning environment for children aged 0-5. You will design high-quality curriculum, guide the teaching team, and model environmentally responsible education practices to support children’s growth and well-being.

The role emphasizes developmentally appropriate practices, family partnerships, and ongoing educator growth, in a year-round, school-day schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Active teaching certification as required by state licensing.
• Experience teaching young children in childcare or educational settings.
• Knowledge of child development, curriculum design, and classroom safety standards.
• Ability to lead classroom operations and mentor support staff.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement daily lesson plans aligned with developmentally appropriate practice and sustainable education principles.
• Lead classroom organization and routines that promote environmental responsibility and stewardship.
• Model best practices for the teaching team and ensure high-quality instructional delivery.
• Supervise children during learning activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor exploration with safety as a priority.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with families through professional communication and involvement.
