Babilou Family US is seeking a Certified Teacher to lead a safe, nurturing classroom and design high-quality curriculum within our Sustainable Education framework. You will guide the teaching team, model responsible practices, and collaborate with families to foster curiosity, confidence, and lifelong wellbeing.

This role supports developmentally appropriate learning in a year-round program, emphasizing environmental stewardship, teamwork, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to sustainable education practices and environmental stewardship.
• Active teaching certification as required by state licensing.
• Experience teaching young children in a childcare or educational setting.
• Knowledge of child development, curriculum design, and classroom safety standards.
• Ability to lead classroom operations and mentor support staff.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement daily lesson plans and experiences aligned with developmentally appropriate and sustainable education.
• Lead classroom organization and routines that promote environmental responsibility and stewardship habits.
• Model best practices for the teaching team and ensure high-quality instructional delivery.
• Supervise children during activities and meals, reporting concerns as required by law.
• Support each child’s developmental needs using observation and documentation to guide instruction.
