Job summary

Babilou Family US is seeking a Certified Teacher to lead safe, nurturing classrooms and deliver high-quality, sustainable education for children aged 0-5. You will design engaging curricula, supervise learning, and mentor supporting staff while partnering with families to support holistic development.

The role emphasizes environmental stewardship, developmentally appropriate practice, and collaboration within a dynamic team across our Little Sprouts schools. On-site work in a year-round program.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to sustainable education practices and environmental stewardship.
• Active teaching certification as required by state licensing.
• Experience teaching young children in childcare or educational settings.
• Knowledge of child development, curriculum design, and classroom safety standards.
• Ability to lead classroom operations and mentor support staff.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement daily lesson plans aligned with developmentally appropriate practices and sustainable education.
• Lead classroom organization and routines promoting environmental responsibility and mindful material use.
• Model best practices for the teaching team and ensure high-quality instructional delivery.
• Supervise children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor exploration, ensuring safety and reporting concerns as mandated.
• Engage families through conferences, events, and ongoing communication to strengthen involvement.
