Job summary

Babilou Family US is seeking a Certified Teacher to lead developmentally appropriate lessons within our Sustainable Education framework. You will design daily plans, guide the teaching team, and partner with families to support children's curiosity and wellbeing.

This year‑round, on‑site role emphasizes safety, environmental stewardship, and collaborative practice as you implement curriculum and document progress for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; state teaching certification as applicable.
• Commitment to sustainable education practices and environmental stewardship.
• Experience teaching young children in childcare or educational settings.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead classroom operations and mentor support staff.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement daily lesson plans aligned with developmentally appropriate practice and sustainable education.
• Lead classroom organization and routines promoting environmental responsibility and mindful materials use.
• Model best teaching practices and supervise assistants to ensure high‑quality instruction.
• Supervise children, ensure safety, and document observations to guide instruction.
• Engage families through conferences, events, and transparent communication.
