Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools seeks a Teacher, Multi-Classroom Leader 1 (MCL1) to coach 4-6 teachers, model instruction, lead a team of educators and support staff, and align practices with principal standards of excellence.

The MCL1 sets annual goals, organizes roles by strengths, reviews student progress, and provides feedback to the principal. Daily coaching time ensures instructional responsibilities are fulfilled, with a focus on improved student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be in CMS Teacher Leader Pathway Talent Pool as an MCL1.
• Certified Schedule/ Full-time, 10 months.
• Non-Title I School: $11,250 supplemental
• Title 1 School: $16,000 supplemental

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching to teammates on the MCL1 caseload (4-6 teachers).
• Conduct regular walkthroughs or observations focused on instructional practices.
• Facilitate whole school data analysis as a member of ILT.
• Use data to provide evidence-based feedback to teachers.
• Lead team to maintain regular communication with families and collaborate for student success.
• Prepare scheduling to allocate instructional time based on teacher strengths.
