Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is seeking a Teacher Leader Multi-Classroom Leader (MCL2) to coach a caseload of 7-8 teachers and lead collaborative teams. The role emphasizes co-teaching, modeling, and small-group instruction to improve student outcomes and align practice with district standards.

The MCL2 will establish team roles and annual goals, organize instructional supports, and provide daily coaching and feedback to teachers and the principal to sustain school-wide improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be in the CMS Teacher Leader Pathway Talent Pool as an MCL2.
• Certified Schedule/ Full-time, 10 months
• Non-Title I School: $13,750 supplemental
• Title 1 School: $18,250 supplemental

Responsibilities

• Coach 7-8 teachers on caseload weekly or bi-weekly using co-teaching, modeling, and small-group strategies.
• Lead a team of teachers and other support staff, aligning roles and goals annually.
• Review student progress and adjust instruction to ensure learning gains.
• Provide daily coaching, feedback to staff and principal, and contribute to school program framework.
