KinderCare Learning Companies in Illinois seeks a Lead Teacher to guide classroom teams, model best practices, and deliver the KinderCare curriculum in a safe, nurturing environment. You’ll partner with families, support enrollment goals, and collaborate with center staff to ensure high-quality care and education for every child.

The role requires CDA or NAECY candidacy, 2–3 years ECE experience, a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education preferred, CPR/First Aid, and ability to lift 40 pounds.

Qualifikationen

• Outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a busy classroom.
• Possess active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
