KinderCare Learning Companies in Illinois is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor in a classroom, implement our curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing environment for children.

The role requires 2-3 years of Early Childhood Education experience, a CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy, and ability to read and communicate in English. We offer competitive pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service, strong organization, and ability to multi-task.
• Possess active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Willingness to obtain state trainer certification (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Use a computer, lift 40+ pounds, indoor/outdoor work.
• Read/write/speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that matches each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support center success; work with staff to achieve enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and partners.
