Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher in Illinois to lead and mentor in the classroom, delivering the KinderCare curriculum with a focus on each child’s individual needs. You’ll foster a safe, engaging environment and collaborate with families to ensure top-quality care and education.

Applicants should have a CDA or meet NAEYC candidacy, CPR/First Aid, and 2–3 years in early childhood education; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills; ability to multitask and handle multiple situations.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain; state trainer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom and model behaviors.
• Implement KinderCare curriculum in line with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and partners.
