Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to coach and mentor staff, implement the center’s curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. You will partner with parents to ensure high-quality care, support enrollment and accreditation goals, and build strong relationships with staff and community partners.

This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and individualized child development.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively.
• Active CDA Credential or meeting NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum tailored to each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to support the best care and education for their children.
• Support center success by collaborating with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and partners.
