Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher who will lead, coach, and mentor teachers in the classroom while implementing our curriculum to fit each child’s needs. You will create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning and partner with families for top-notch care and education.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to support the best care and education.
• Support center success toward enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and partners.
