Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to mentor staff, implement the curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing classroom for early learners. You will partner with families to support each child’s growth in a supportive team environment.

You will lead educational activities, ensure compliance with state requirements, and contribute to center goals while fostering strong relationships with parents and staff across the center.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills.
• Active CDA credential or NAECY candidacy.
• Approved state trainer preferred.
• 2–3 years early childhood education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in your classroom.
• Implement KinderCare curriculum with individual child needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support children’s education.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers and partners.
