Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of successful classroom teaching.
• Proven experience serving on a school leadership team or equivalent.
• Valid State Teaching Certification is required.
• Current Certified Mentor status or commitment to earn mentor certification upon hire.
• Demonstrated growth mindset with commitment to attend all 10 innovative teacher trainings.

Responsibilities

• Serve on the school leadership team to shape academic vision and goals.
• Act as liaison between administration and instructional staff to promote innovative practices.
• Provide direction for county curriculum initiatives and align with district goals.
• Translate district changes into actionable classroom strategies for peers.
• Offer mentorship, instructional coaching, co-teaching, and peer observations to support peers on innovative methods.
• Model advanced instructional strategies including technology integration and data-driven differentiation.
