Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of successful classroom teaching experience.
• Proven experience serving on a school leadership team or equivalent.
• Valid State Teaching Certification.
• Current Certified Mentor status or commitment to earn mentor certification on hire.
• Demonstrated growth mindset and commitment to ongoing learning.

Responsibilities

• Actively serve on the school leadership team to shape academic vision and goals.
• Liaise between administration and staff to champion innovative practices.
• Provide input for county curriculum initiatives and district alignment.
• Attend all 10 mandated innovative teacher training sessions and PD workshops.
• Translate district changes into actionable classroom strategies for peers.
• Serve as a certified mentor guiding new and developing educators.
• Offer coaching, co‑teaching, and peer observations to support peers.
• Model advanced instructional strategies, including technology integration and data‑driven differentiation.
