Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of successful classroom teaching experience.
• Proven experience serving on a school leadership team or in an equivalent building-level leadership capacity.
• Valid State Teaching Certification.
• Current Certified Mentor status, or commitment to earn mentor certification upon hire.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning, including attending all 10 specialized trainings.

Responsibilities

• Serve actively on the school leadership team to shape academic vision, culture, and strategic goals.
• Act as a liaison between administration and instructional staff to champion innovative practices.
• Provide input for county curriculum initiatives and align with district goals at the local school level.
• Attend all 10 mandated innovative teacher training sessions and professional development workshops.
• Translate district curriculum changes into actionable classroom strategies for peers.
• Mentor and guide new and developing educators as a certified mentor.
• Offer instructional coaching, co-teaching opportunities, and peer observations to support peers in adopting innovative methods.
• Model advanced instructional strategies, including technology integration, data-driven differentiation, and student-centered learning.
