Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to mentor staff, implement the curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing environment for children. You will partner with families to support education and work with leadership to meet enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals.

The role requires strong customer service and organizational skills, CDA or equivalent credentials, and 2–3 years of early childhood experience. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
• CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy required or in progress.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read/write/speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
