Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Lead Teacher to guide classrooms, mentor colleagues, and implement our developmentally appropriate curriculum. You’ll create a safe, nurturing space where children can explore and learn, while building strong connections with families and staff.

This role emphasizes collaboration with center leadership to support enrollment and accreditation goals, and requires strong customer service, organizational skills, and a CDA or NAEYC candidacy.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Active CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role.
• Capable of lifting 40 pounds and indoor/outdoor work.
• Read, write and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers.
• Implement KinderCare curriculum consistent with each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and partners.
