Job summary

The Learning Experience in Florida is seeking a Lead Teacher to set the academic foundation for young learners and to mentor other educators. You will lead classrooms, create meaningful moments aligned with our mission to make a difference in children’s lives, and inspire happiness, curiosity, and confidence.

Qualifications

• Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• High School Diploma or GED required; ECE coursework preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old and have childcare leadership experience.
• Comply with state and federal immunization, health, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom activities and plan engaging, developmentally appropriate experiences.
• Implement the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® and adapt for Infants to Preschool.
• Prioritize safety and nurture in a welcoming environment.
• Regularly update families on child progress via apps and in-person talks.
• Collaborate with center staff to support retention, enrollment and engagement.
• Build warm relationships with families and colleagues to foster learning and play.
